Defence Sacco Membership Eligibility & Requirements

Defence Savings & Credit Society (DESACCO), established on 10th April 2019, is a savings and credit cooperative society designed for the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) personnel. The Sacco’s mission is to enhance the socio-economic welfare of its members through affordable financial services.

Membership Eligibility

Membership is restricted to:

Serving Military Personnel
Veterans of the Kenya Defence Forces

Membership can be applied for by obtaining an application form from:

Pay offices
Welfare offices
Unit chief clerks

Membership Requirements

Membership Registration Fee: Kshs 500
Minimum Monthly Deposit Contribution: Kshs 3,000
Share Capital: Kshs 20,000
Account Maintenance Fee (Sharia accounts only): Kshs 1,000
Sink Fund Contribution: Kshs 300
