K-Unity Sacco Membership Eligibility & Requirements

K-Unity Sacco, established in 1974, was formed through the amalgamation of Limuru Marketing Co-operative Union and Kiambu Dairy Marketing Union. It was created to facilitate savings and credit services for dairy and pyrethrum societies in Kiambu County. Today, the Sacco serves over 100,000 members in Kiambu, Nairobi, Nakuru, and Nyandarua counties, with an asset base of Kshs 5.72 billion.


Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to all Kenyans across various sectors, including:

  • Farmers.
  • Business people.
  • Teachers (active and retired) under the Teachers Service Commission.
  • County and national government employees.
  • Private sector employees.
  • NGO employees and individuals from other sectors.

Membership Requirements

To join K-Unity Sacco, you will need:

  1. Completed Membership Application Form – Available on the Sacco’s website or at its offices.
  2. Membership Fee – Kshs 500.
  3. Documents:
    • Copy of National ID.
    • Copy of KRA PIN certificate.
  4. Passport-Size Photo – Recent.
