Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations, offers visitors a gateway to extraordinary wildlife experiences, including the world-famous wildebeest migration and sightings of the Big Five. As of 2025, here are the updated entry fees for this renowned game reserve.
About Masai Mara National Reserve
Spanning 1,510 square kilometers, the reserve is located in the southwestern part of Kenya, along the Great Rift Valley. Unlike many other parks managed by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), Masai Mara is administered by the Narok County government.

Masai Mara’s most notable feature is the Great Wildebeest Migration, a natural phenomenon occurring between July and October when millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes migrate across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The reserve is also home to the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinoceroses, making it a year-round favorite for wildlife enthusiasts.
