Nestled in West Pokot County, Nasolot National Reserve is a 92 km² protected area offering stunning natural landscapes and unique wildlife. Located just 6.2 km off the A1 Kitale–Lodwar Road near Kainuk, the reserve is managed by the West Pokot County Government and was gazetted in 1979 to conserve the rich biodiversity of the region.

Attractions at Nasolot National Reserve

Nasolot National Reserve boasts several attractions, including:

  • Nasolot Hill: Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.
  • Mount Melo and Turkwell Dam: Ideal for photography and sightseeing.
  • Bird Watching: A haven for bird enthusiasts with numerous bird species.

The reserve is home to a variety of wildlife, including:
