Telepost Sacco (formerly Posta Sacco) began in 1969 as a welfare organization for subordinate staff of the then Kenya Posts & Telecommunications Corporation (KP&TC). Over the years, it has grown to become a leading Sacco in membership and share capital.
Membership Eligibility
Telepost Sacco welcomes members from various segments of the market, including:
- Employees of Telepost Sacco Society.
- Telkom Kenya employees.
- Posta Kenya employees.
- Career Direction Limited staff.
- Human Capital Synergies staff.
- Multimedia University staff.
- Other private organizations.
- Private individuals.
- Chamas (investment groups) and corporates.
- Non-core bond members.
- Spouses and dependents of members.
Membership Requirements
- Complete a membership application form, available for download from the Sacco’s website or obtainable at its offices or from county delegates.
- Attach the following documents:
- A copy of your National ID.
- A passport-size photograph.
- Pay an entrance fee of Kshs 1,000.
- Commit to a minimum monthly contribution of:
- Kshs 2,000 for normal shares.
- Kshs 300 for the Telepost Benevolent Fund.
