How To Reset Your Forgotten Mpesa PIN

Follow these steps to reset your Mpesa PIN if forgotten:


  1. *Dial 334# on your phone.
  2. Select Option 7My Account.
  3. Choose Option 4Mpesa PIN Manager.
  4. Select Option 1Mpesa Forgot PIN.
  5. Enter your ID/Passport Number.
  6. Enter your Mpesa Balance or Fuliza Limit for verification.
  7. You will receive a Start PIN via SMS.
  8. Change your Mpesa PIN:
    • Go to the Mpesa Menu on your phone.
    • Select My Account.
    • Choose Change Mpesa PIN.
    • Enter the Start PIN (received via SMS) as your Old PIN.
    • Set your New PIN and confirm.

Note

  • Ensure your new PIN is secure and not easy to guess.
  • If you encounter any issues, call Safaricom Customer Care toll-free on 100 for assistance.
