Honor has introduced two new models in its X60 series, the Honor X60 and Honor X60 Pro, which diverge more in features compared to their X50 predecessors. The Honor X60 Pro stands out with its curved OLED display, 6.78-inch screen size, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1,224 x 2,700px resolution. It also boasts 10-bit colors, a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, and 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Despite being waterproof, it lacks an official IP rating, but it can function with wet fingers.
The X60 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a downgrade from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the X50 Pro, but still capable of recording 4K video with its 108MP camera. Both models feature the same 108MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor, utilizing a 1/1.67” sensor with 9-to-1 pixel binning for a 1.92µm effective pixel size. However, there is no optical stabilization, and the lens aperture is f/1.75.
In contrast, the vanilla X60 comes with a flat LCD display, measuring 6.8 inches with a 1080 x 2,412px resolution, achieving lower brightness at 850 nits but maintaining the 120Hz refresh rate. It also uses the Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset, which limits video recording to 1080p.
Both models offer 8MP selfie cameras, but the X60 Pro has a pill-shaped punch hole for additional hardware, along with an under-display fingerprint reader. The vanilla X60 uses a side-mounted fingerprint reader due to its LCD screen.
The X60 Pro packs a larger 6,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging, giving it better video playback endurance (25 hours compared to 19 hours on the vanilla X60). The vanilla X60 has a 5,800mAh battery with 35W charging. Both phones offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, launching with MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.
In terms of audio, the X60 Pro features stereo speakers with Honor Histen 7.1 technology, capable of boosting volume up to 300%. Both models share dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and the same audio codec support, but the X60 Pro has two-way satellite texting via Beidou for areas without cellular coverage.
Pricing for the Honor X60 starts at CNY 1,200 (around $170/€155/₹14,200), with storage options up to 12GB/512GB. The X60 Pro starts at CNY 1,500 (around $210/€195/₹17,700), with additional color options, including Orange, along with Black, Green, and Silver.
