NRS Sacco Membership Eligibility & Requirements

NRS Sacco, established in 1993, originated from the vision of members of the Nderi Farmers Co-operative Society (Dairy) to create an affordable and accessible savings and credit institution. Initially named Ndetika Rural Sacco, the name reflects its foundation in milk collection centers: Nderi, Tiebae, Karai, and Kamuguga. With an asset base of Kshs 0.62 billion, NRS Sacco offers FOSA (Front Office Services Activities) and BOSA (Back Office Services Activities) products to all members.

Membership Eligibility

NRS Sacco membership is open to:

• All Kenyans, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, or political background.
• Diaspora members who meet specific criteria.

Membership Requirements

General Membership Requirements

1. Membership Application Form:
   • Download from the Sacco’s website or collect it from any NRS Sacco branch.
   • Fill and sign the form.
2. Identification: Provide a copy of your National ID.
3. Passport Photo: Submit one recent passport-size photograph.
4. KRA PIN: Provide a copy of your KRA PIN certificate.

Diaspora Membership Requirements

1. Fill and sign the membership application form available online.
2. Provide:
   • Copy of Kenyan passport.
   • Copy of National ID.
   • Recent passport-size photo.
   • Copy of KRA PIN.
   • Proof of residency (e.g., residency permit or utility bill).
