KMA Sacco Membership Eligibility & Requirements

Kenya Medical Association (KMA) Sacco is Kenya’s largest financial service provider designed for and by doctors. Since its establishment in 1998, the Sacco has grown to over 6,000 members and is regulated by SASRA with an asset base of Kshs 5.8 billion.


Membership Eligibility

  1. Principal Members:
    • Medical practitioners, dentists, and pharmacists.
  2. Additional Membership:
    • Principal members can introduce their spouses, children, companies, and corporate entities.
  3. Association Membership:
    • Medical students qualify for this membership category.

Membership Requirements

  1. Complete the membership application form available on the Sacco’s website or at its offices.
  2. Download and fill the email indemnity form, attach it to the application form.
  3. Attach the following documents:
    • A copy of National ID.
    • A copy of KRA PIN certificate.
    • A photocopy of either MBChB, BDS, or BPharm certificate, board license, or retention certificate.
    • Two recent passport photos.
  4. Pay a joining fee of Kshs 3,000 via:
    • Sacco’s bank accounts.
    • Mpesa Paybill No. 540900 (use your ID or membership number as the account number).
