Steps to Pay Via Mpesa
- Go to your Mpesa Menu:
- Open your Safaricom SIM Toolkit or dial *334# to access M-Pesa services.
- Select Lipa na Mpesa:
- Navigate to the “Lipa na Mpesa” option.
- Choose Paybill:
- Select the “Paybill” option to proceed.
- Enter the Business Number:
- Use 333222 as the business number.
- Enter Your Account Number:
- Input the ID Number you used to register with M-Kopa as the account number.
- Enter the Payment Amount:
- Specify the amount you want to pay.
- Enter Your M-Pesa PIN:
- Input your PIN and confirm the transaction.
- Confirmation:
- You will receive a confirmation SMS from M-Pesa and M-Kopa once the payment is processed successfully.
Important Notes
- Account Deactivation:
- If payments are not made as agreed, M-Kopa may deactivate your phone. Reactivation requires repaying at least one Credit Fee payment.
- No Cash Payments:
- M-Kopa does not accept cash payments. Ensure all transactions are made through M-Pesa to avoid scams.
