Azima Sacco, formerly known as Kenya Canners Sacco, was established in 1966 and re-registered on 13th April 1987 under the Societies Act Cap 490. Initially formed by employees of Delmonte Kenya Limited, the Sacco opened its membership to the public in 2016, offering a wide range of financial services.
With 10,344 members across FOSA and BOSA, the Sacco is based in Thika and operates a branch at Ol Donyo Sabuk.
Membership Eligibility
Azima Sacco is open to:
- Employees of Delmonte Kenya Limited.
- Individuals within the accepted common bond.
- Public members who wish to join and meet the membership requirements.
Membership Requirements
- Fill in a membership application form (available on the Sacco’s website, headquarters, or branches).
- Pay a one-off fee of Kshs 600.
- Purchase 600 shares at Kshs 20 each.
- Make a minimum deposit contribution of Kshs 1,000.
