MIAMI — Newark-born singer and songwriter Jalil Lopez has announced the release of Metamorfosis, a seven-track EP with a bonus track, set to arrive Friday, September 5, 2025, via Redline Media Group (RMG). The project reflects a deeply personal journey of loss, resilience, and renewal, fusing classic Bachata traditions with contemporary urban soul and hip-hop influences.
“This project is a reflection of everything I’ve lived through, what nearly broke me, what and who brought me back, and how I’ve grown through it all,” Lopez said. “It’s my truth, and I hope it allows me to connect with fans around the world in unique ways.”

Metamorfosis brings together an accomplished roster of Latin music producers and collaborators, including Andres Rios, three-time Latin Grammy nominee and 2024 winner for Song of the Year, Latin Grammy-nominated Jorge Milano and Lil’ Genuiz, and four-time Latin Grammy winner Alejandro “Mosty” Patiño.
